"There's NO place like home, There's NO place like home."
echoing off the walls of my hospital room as I pointlessly click my bare feet together...
I might have thrown myself a 10 minute pity-party today.
Then I brushed myself off, wiped my tear away and in my head heard my dad saying:
"tuffin' up buttercup'.
I am definitely a product of the 'want it now' generation and after a rough two days I was half pleading, half-bargaining for some peace of mind with Heavenly Father.
I even caught myself saying during one of my many prayers:
"Can you just show me a sign so I can trust".
Hmm. That is a little bit backwards there cowboy.
Show me a sign and then I'll trust you.
It should have been, 'I will trust you and know that the witness will come after the trial of my faith.'
yes, that is how it goes.
So I got bucked off my horse. Big deal. I'm back in the saddle again.
and I'm still grateful for the ride.
it's time for me to go 'wrangle up some grub' (i.e. milkshake time--I've been slacking in the calorie consumption department--not good, weigh in is tomorrow morning.)
wish me luck. I won't tell you the number I'm trying to break. it is sad. darn these chicken legs!
